It will be the first international cruise port in Zhejiang province.</p><p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 5px; border: 0px; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: normal;">The port will receive its first cruise ship, Superstar Aquarius, operated by Star Cruises, on the day. The cruiseship will carry about 1,000 passengers from Taiwan’s Keelung port.</p><p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 5px; border: 0px; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: normal;">According to Fu Kaiming, general manager of Zhoushan International Cruise Port, the port will mainly serve as a calling port and it is working to connect with cruises that visit Shanghai.</p><p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 5px; border: 0px; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: normal;">Fu revealed that L’Austral, a cruise ship operated by Campagnie Du Ponant, will also call at the port in November.
