<p><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Carnival Freedom to Get a Texas-sized Welcome</strong></span></p><p>JANUARY 14, 2015&nbsp;BY&nbsp;DOUG PARKER</p><p><br><p>Everything’s bigger in Texas, right? That stands true for&nbsp;Carnival&nbsp;Cruise Line&nbsp;as they move the newly refurbished&nbsp;Carnival&nbsp;Freedom to Galveston on Saturday, February 14.&nbsp;Together withCarnival&nbsp;Triumph and&nbsp;Carnival&nbsp;Magic,&nbsp;Carnival&nbsp;will carry more than 600,000 passengers annually from Texas.</p><p>This Texas-sized event alongside&nbsp;Operation Homefront,&nbsp;a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial and other assistance to military families,&nbsp;Carnival&nbsp;will host Grammy nominated Country music&nbsp;artist&nbsp;Martina McBride&nbsp;for a&nbsp;special performance on-deck performance.</p><p>Carnival&nbsp;Freedom recently underwent a $70 million makeover which added an array of Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements. Including complimentary eateries such as BlueIguana Cantina and Guy’s Burger Joint, developed in partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri, poolside bars including BlueIguana Tequila Bar and RedFrog Rum Bar, as well as the pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar and the line’s Caribbean-inspired RedFrog Pub.</p><p>Carnival&nbsp;Freedom will sailing four- to seven-day cruises throughout Mexico, the Caribbean and the Bahamas.</p></p><p><br></p>
