Carnival Transfers Next Cruise Ship, Restoring Fleet to 27 Vessels

<p>Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet of ships has officially grown to 27 and will soon get its second Italian-style fun ship. The line just took delivery of Carnival Firenze from sister brand Costa Cruises. The beauty of Florence, Italy is about to meet the fun of Carnival Cruise Line,” said Carnival President Christine Duffy. The refreshed ship will join the first ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style ship, Carnival Venezia.</p><h2><strong>Carnival Fun Italian Style Ship</strong></h2><p><img data-cke-saved-src="https://cruiseradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/carnival-venezia-cruise-1-1030x773.jpg" src="https://cruiseradio.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/carnival-venezia-cruise-1-1030x773.jpg" alt="A balcony on Carnival Venezia with wicker chairs and a hammock." style="height: 188px; width: 250px;"></p><p>Firenze will feature&nbsp;<strong><a data-cke-saved-href="https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-venezia-cruise-ship-review-information/" href="https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-venezia-cruise-ship-review-information/">similar amenities to the Carnival Venezia</a></strong>, including the Festa Italiana deck party and the Captain’s Venetian Toast. The ship will showcase Il Viaggio, Carnival’s newest specialty Italian restaurant, La Strada Grill, and a Mexitalian fusion restaurant.<br></p><p>The ship’s atrium is modeled on the iconic Piazza del Duomo in Florence, and the Italian Riviera inspires the Lido Deck. The Firenze will also receive signature Carnival experiences like the Heroes Tribute Lounge, the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat, and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse.</p><h3><strong>Carnival Firenze Sailing Year-Round from Long Beach</strong></h3><p>Carnival Firenze will homeport year-round at Long Beach, CA, starting in April and sails three- and four-day sailings to Ensenada, Mexico, and Catalina Island. There will also be five-to-seven-day cruises to the Mexican Riviera with calls at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.</p>
