Privacy on the internet should be respected at all times. This privacy statement provides an overview of how CruiseLegend™ respects personal information. After permission is granted by the user to make a profile, CruiseLegend™ does not have to inform the user again concerning his identity en methods to use and analyze the data submitted.

CruiseLegend™ requires information from the user in order to make a profile. The user must supply:
1. A valid e-mail address [user name]
2. Screen name [that other people will see]
3. Password
4. Country
5. IP address will be automatically detected and stored upon making a profile

Additional information upon registration may be submitted at user’s own discretion. This can include:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Date of birth [we will calculate age]
4. City
5. State or province
6. Gender
7. Areas of personal interest

The fields above, with the exception of screenname, can be modified by user at all times in user’s personal profile.

A profile will never reveal a user’s contact details like home or work address, phone number, fax number or e-mail address. A basic profile upon creation will only reveal screen name which a user can enter and change and country. Upon submission and acceptance by user, a profile can also reveal first name, gender, age and/or city and state (where applicable).

Every user has the option to make their profile visible (public) or invisible (private) to other users. A private profile can only been accessed by him/herself and by people he/she sends the link to. Users added to the favorites list will also have access to his/her profile. He can however deny another user’s request for addition to favorites or delete favorite users he has granted access to in the past. All registered users can access public profiles. In order to provide optimum service and to assure quality, the CruiseLegend™ administrator has access to all public and private profiles and can edit and/or delete any information at any time without prior consent with the user(s) involved.
